| Academics: | CanAdventure Education camps offer hands-on learning in North American and First Nations history, earth sciences, and environmental studies. The academic curriculum is built on a series of hands-on experiential wilderness activities that meet provincially-dictated learning outcomes in their respective areas while bringing real-world relevance to subject material and a captivating new approach to learning. |
| Counseling: | CanAdventure Education's core experiential outdoor education struggling teens curriculum is complimented by Therapeutic Focus Sessions designed to provide interventions for youth experiencing behavior disorders and/or addiction issues. Sessions, which include workshops on family issues, anger management, drug and alcohol abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and suicide and self-harm, are delivered and overseen by CanAdventure Education's certified counselor team, allowing the therapeutic value of the existing core adventure education program for struggling teens to be maximized. CanAdventure Education's holistic program of learning and development in academics, cultural awareness, outdoor skills, and personal growth will offer struggling teens a fresh new perspective and a recreational experience that will be treasured for the rest of their lives. |
