| Activities: | Recreational activiities are essential to facilitate positive emotional growth and relaxation during time of stress. Due to the ever changing seasons in Northern Idaho, many recreational activities are based upon the time of year and the weather. Various activities may include: backpacking, camping, hiking, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, weight training, aerobic training, boating, canoeing, kayaking, basketball, volleyball, snowshoeing, white-water rafting, playing pool, attending movies or bowling. Whatever activities are implemented, there will always be a balance between recreation time, time at work, and volunteering in the community. | Specialties: | Several years of experience in working with troubled adolescents has allowed us to observe the tremendous need for a structured, academic program that will foster growth in young adults. Many adolescents who struggle through high school, or are unable to complete their secondary education successfully, have a desire to continue their education. However, complications earlier in life make this task difficult, and at times, unmanageable without assistance. College Bound is a program designed to cultivate academic achievement in young adults. |
