Enroll Info:Admissions counselors are available to assist you 24 hours a day. Enrollments can be scheduled seven days a week, around the clock
Student Profile:Behavior is spiraling out of control. They may have clinical, behavioral, or learning diagnosis which contribute to their behavior problems. They may have experimented with drugs or alcohol. They may be running away, defying authority, or hiding from life.
Activities:A four phase curriculum which combines emotional growth, meaningful work, physical challenge, Therapeutic guidance and clinical assessment
Counseling:Each participant has a clinical Case Manager directing care.
Campus:Teens live in teepees in a setting where they exercise, eat well balanced meals, breathe fresh air, and begin taking responsibility for self-management
Family Involvement:Parents participate throughout the Ascent program. Parent letters are part of the Therapeutic process for teens, and parent communication with the case manager is part of the family education process. The last weekend of Ascent is a Family Workshop, an emotionally safe environment for reconciliation and reunification.
Length of Stay:Offers a flexible length of stay with an average stay of 46 days

Financial Assistance:Admissions counselor will assist with applications, finance and insurance options, assessments, and professional referrals
Staff:Staffed by highly experienced outdoor educators and clinicians with outstanding credentials. The staff includes several psychologists, a consulting psychiatrist, masters-level social workers, and certified outdoor instructors. Ascent's Chief Instructors are certified as Wilderness First Responders
Tuition/Costs:$375 per day
Specialties:The low children-to-staff ratio ensures a level of attention and safety to support each child to succeed both as an individual and as a member of a working team.
