| Student Profile: | Behavior is spiraling out of control. They may have clinical, behavioral, or learning diagnosis which contribute to their behavior problems. They may have experimented with drugs or alcohol. They may be running away, defying authority, or hiding from life. |
| Activities: | A four phase curriculum which combines emotional growth, meaningful work, physical challenge, Therapeutic guidance and clinical assessment |
| Counseling: | Each participant has a clinical Case Manager directing care. |
| Campus: | Teens live in teepees in a setting where they exercise, eat well balanced meals, breathe fresh air, and begin taking responsibility for self-management |
| Family Involvement: | Parents participate throughout the Ascent program. Parent letters are part of the Therapeutic process for teens, and parent communication with the case manager is part of the family education process. The last weekend of Ascent is a Family Workshop, an emotionally safe environment for reconciliation and reunification. |
