| Academics: | The Academy is accredited as a special purpose school by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, and Universities and the Utah State Office of Education. Credit earned through Cedar Ridge Academy will transfer to high schools, and is accepted for admission to colleges, and universities throughout the United States. The various staff members are certified in administration, secondary education and guidance counseling. Staff provide initial and ongoing assessment of academic needs and progress. Academic programs are individualized to meet graduation requirements either for Utah or for the student's home state. Students take courses in a guided individual study format, or small classes of direct instruction. Career assessment, aptitude testing, career guidance, and college counseling are available. ACT/SAT/PSAT testing and test preparation available. |
| Activities: | Karate. All students participate in a multitude of recreational activities. Some of these activities include going out to dinner, movies in town, playing softball, fishing, and hiking. Gardening, property improvements, animal care, and construction. |
| Counseling: | Milieu therapy provides a constant focus on personal growth. |
| Campus: | Students here live in homes of no more than 12. Rural ranch setting. |
| Family Involvement: | Family counseling-regularly scheduled phone sessions with parents. Parents are required to attend three workshops during the course of their child's stay. |
