| Academics: | With a low student/teacher ratio of 9:1, Hidden Lake Academy uses an individualized approach and flexible block scheduling to allow for intensive study of selected subjects for remediation as well as enrichment. Hidden Lake Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) as a -traditional+ school |
| Activities: | Every day and every weekend there are opportunities for voluntary recreational activities both on and off campus. Students choose the offered activities in which they desire to participate. These selections range from quiet games and crafts to competitive sporting events and tournaments. |
| Counseling: | Offers a strong Therapeutic curriculum coupled with specialized -adjunct+ Therapeutic services which address other clinical issues such as addictive, compulsive and self-destructive behaviors. |
| Campus: | On campus, a 14 acre lake, lodge, tennis courts and a lakeside gazebo offer countless social and recreational opportunities, while the surrounding mountains facilitate easy access to hiking trails, camping, whitewater rafting, fishing and rock climbing. |
| Family Involvement: | From the date of enrollment, parents will have contact with a Peer Group Communicator who will give progress reports. School Communicators who are Master+s-level Counselors are available during regular school hours. A weekly phone time will be established between parent and child during the first week of enrollment. Written communication is always welcome by standard letters or email. |
