| Academics: | Designed to meet students+ individual needs. Our certified teachers are trained to work with gifted students, students with learning difficulties, and students with behavioral difficulties. |
| Activities: | In our recreation program, patients participate in structured recreational therapy as well as outdoor adventures and cultural experiences. |
| Counseling: | Intensive Therapeutic services begin the day the student is admitted. Upon arrival the student is interviewed and assessed. Following this assessment, the student is assigned a primary therapist. The primary therapist interacts with the child weekly during individual therapy sessions, family therapy sessions, and some of the group sessions. Additionally, at least once a week the child+s issues and needs are discussed during the multi-disciplinary team meeting. |
| Campus: | Students live in a home-like setting, which includes living rooms, bedrooms, and a large family kitchen. In this residential setting, students learn the value of chores, positive interactions with others, and developing family relationships. |
| Family Involvement: | Family involvement is critical to the success of the child while in treatment and following placement at Pine Ridge Academy. Pine Ridge Academy strives to include the family in the Therapeutic process as much as possible |
