| Academics: | All attend school with a certified Teacher and Aide 5 days a week. Able to coordinate with home school districts. GED preparation is provided. Accr3dite and own our own school district. |
| Counseling: | Two group therapy sessions daily, Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, there is one therapy group and one video presentation, along with time for study and visits with family and friends. |

| Family Involvement: | We believe family involvement in treatment is extremely beneficial and in some cases crucial to recovery. Our Family Program includes an enlightening, three-day experience offered during each resident's stay. The focus is on education, lectures, films, process groups and group therapy. |

| Staff: | Our Physician, Douglas O. Smith, M.D., has worked with the Walker Center since 1976. He is a certified addictionologist, as well as a specialist in internal medicine. Dr. Smith and the staff at the Walker Center bring years of addictions treatment experience and specialized education and training to the recovery process. |

| Specialties: | Founded in 1976 by Archie D. Walker. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is licensed by the Idaho State Department of Health & Welfare. To assist residents and their families in recovery, a strong Continuing Care Program (Aftercare) is provided on a weekly basis in Gooding, Twin Falls, Boise, Bellevue, Idaho Falls and Pocatello. In addition, our Alumni Association hosts family-oriented events and activities throughout the year. |
