| Description: | The programs at The Bella Vita are designed to incorporate the intensive approach of an inpatient hospital program with a less restrictive and more supportive outpatient environment. The Bella Vita offers 4 programs for the recovery of eating disorders: Adult Partial Hospitalization (PHP): 8 hours per day;. Adolescent Partial Hospitalization (PHP): 8 hours per day; Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 4 hours per day;. Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 4 hours per day. The programs are designed to treat the client's primary diagnosis, such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. The underlying issues, and not merely the symptoms, are addressed from an eating disorders perspective, whether expressed as anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating. Dr. Patricia Pitts has 20 years experience specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety alcohol and drug related issues, adolescent and adult issues, nutritional and fitness needs, stress management, health sexuality, spirituality, prevention and wellness. |
