| Description: | The Journey Home is based upon a foundation offering respect, support, and empowerment to females ages 14 and up facing addictions. We offer an open ended aftercare program designed to meet the specific needs of each individual resident. We believe that it is important and necessary to intervene with care against the physical, psychological, social, vocational, and spiritual crises exhibited by the addicted resident. Chemical dependency is a family disease that must be addressed with the whole family to assist each resident in their recovery. All phases of The Journey Home are designed to help our residents achieve independence, break the generation to generation cycle of addiction, promote appropriate social behavior, and empower these women so they no longer fall to the victimization of addictions. |

| Student Profile: | All of our residents are women at least 14 years old who are chemically dependent / dual diagnosis. The Journey Home program requires that all residents be medically detoxed. |
| Length of Stay: | The Journey Home is an open ended program allowing for each resident to receive the care and support they need to achieve long-term sobriety. |
