Description:Eagle Ranch provides a Christ-centered home for boys and girls in crisis and in need of hope and healing. Partnering with their families, we pursue family restoration and reunification. We seek to influence and equip others who share a similar calling to impact children, families and future generations.

Enroll Info:Eagle Ranch is a long term residential program for children. Our admissions are based o­n an extensive intake process and the appropriateness of the child for our program. We are not an emergency or short term shelter facility and are therefore unable to accept emergency placements.

Boys ages 8-16, Girls ages 8-13


A minimum IQ score of 70 or above


Children/adolescents with mild to moderate emotional and/or behavioral problems, such as depression, anxiety, oppositional/defiant behavior, lying, stealing, school conduct problems, academic underachievement, poor social skills, issues related to past abuse, poor anger management, poor self-image, etc. Children/adolescents exhibiting more severe problems will be evaluated o­n an individual, case-by-case basis.


Must live within an 80-mile radius of Eagle Ranch (Gainesville area)


Must have family (birth, adoptive, foster) to reside with o­n alternating weekends off, school holidays, and summer break (several weeks)


Must have family involvement (birth, adoptive, foster) with potential for reunification


Must be able to function in a public school, although grades 6-8 will be educated at Eagle Ranch


No active suicidal or homicidal threats, ideation, or behavior currently or in recent history


No current drug/alcohol dependencies


No history of sexual offending behavior or sexual perpetration


Youth committed to the Department of Juvenile Justice will not be eligible for admission to Eagle Ranch

Student Profile:Our children come from a variety of backgrounds and home situations, and they each have unique needs and areas of brokenness. Our team of houseparents, counselors and teachers collaborate to help the boys and girls address these issues. During the entire process we also work with the children’s families to facilitate restoration. As our children and their families identify and change negative behaviors, they are able to overcome past failures and embrace a hopeful future.
