Our facilities, located throughout Northern California, offer a comprehensive structure of accredited treatment programs, sober living environments, and services for those suffering from the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction. We work closely with Employee Assistance Professionals, Insurance Providers, Unions and privately referred clients to provide effective, individualized treatment. Free training is available for dealing with sensitive substance abuse related issues. We provide accredited Detoxification, Residential, Day and Outpatient Treatment as several locations, and have more than 20 sober living environments throughout California. Our treatment philosophy focuses on clients maintaining long-term abstinence from mind-altering substances and on teaching new methods to cope with life issues. Highly qualified, experienced counselors are dedicated to guiding clients through the early recovery process while treating them with dignity and respect. | Philosophy: | Treatment Philosophy Support Systems Homes' treatment programs offer hope to the men and women and their families suffering from the devastating consequences of chemical dependency. Our comprehensive system of recovery services is based on the beliefs that: 1. Abstinence from alcohol and mind-altering drugs must be maintained in order to appropriately treat clients. 2. Recovery must be an ongoing process, taking into account each aspect of life that is altered by alcohol and drug use. We emphasize treatment of the physical, emotional, spiritual, and family aspects of addiction and alcoholism. 3. Continuity of care is crucial to the success of a treatment program. Research shows that the most effective treatment lasts at least three months. Support Systems Homes has designed several levels of care with varying durations and collaborates with other treatment entitles to fill this need for continuity of care. Treatment at Support Systems Homes is the beginning of a new way of life. We provide the necessary exposure to recovery principles and work at removing barriers that may prevent acceptance of those principles.
