Exhibit defiant or oppositional behavior. The behavior may be the effects of physical or emotional mistreatment or abuse. It usually results in a disregard for rules, declining grades, and a history of substance use. Most of the students are from broken families, and have been isolated and unaccepted in their homes, schools and communities.
School is accredited through the Washington State's Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, which means that any work a student completes here can be transferred to any other school, public or private.
Culinary arts vocational training program. Students not only work with cattle, but with 35 horses, 6 donkeys, 2 miniature goats, 14 emus, 3 hog, 7 turkeys, several chickens, roosters, bunnies, cats and a dog named Chuck. Wood shop. Football, track, basketball, soccer, horsemanship.
Located on 400 acres, 30 miles east of Pasco in the southeast corner of Washington. The property is nestled in the rural wheat-lands off the bank of the Snake River.
Efforts are made to improve relationships between our students and their families. Regular phone calls, letter writing and visits are used to provide positive opportunities for growth. Families are encouraged to work on issues at home to reinforce changes made at the ranch
The Jubilee vision desires to nurture the spirit of the residents of Jubilee Youth Ranch and students of Jubilee Christian School and Academy.
Jubilee works with parents, relatives, churches, and charitable groups, and individuals to provide funding for a studentÕs care. Scholarships may be available for those demonstrating a need.

We are not a typical "lock-down" facility, even though the students may not leave without permission. We prefer to call ourselves a "staff secure" facility.
