Students continue to build auditory, speech, and language skills. We teach conversational skills, role playing, and appropriate social strategies.
Many cultural and community events. Students enjoy collegiate basketball, soccer, hockey and football games, winter festivals, and fairs. They participate with hearing peers in local recreational leagues. Pizza parties, scarecrow making contests, swimathons, and movie nights provide some of the fondest memories students and faculty have of their shared campus life together. Drama, art, photography, school newspaper, student council, dorm council, school store, computer/internet, biking, and yearbook.
Psychologists provide direct support services to students. Observations and psychological assessment are utilized to better understand individual student's learning styles and social-emotional needs.
