Applications are accepted at any time, but new students must register only at the beginning of a semester (August and January).

Acceptance to the Academy is based on a number of factors -- prior academic history and curriculum, health history and the potential. Because of the nature of this challenging academic setting, the Admissions Committee looks for a young man who has the potential to adapt to our program. He must be physically fit, emotionally strong and capable of meeting the demands of a tough college prep program. Marine Military Academy does NOT offer a program for students with learning disabilities.

The Marine Military Academy Academic Department provides all cadets with the necessary academic and intellectual tools to succeed in college.

The Marine Military Academy has a wide variety of sports, clubs and activities available to the cadets

The cadets reside two to a room in one of six dormitory-style barracks supervised by a former Marine Staff Non-commissioned Officer (SNCO) called a drill instructor (DI).

In a world where many prefer to take shortcuts and offer less than their personal best effort, the Marine Military Academy challenges each cadet to strive for excellence and his highest potential. The goals for personal excellence extend through academics, athletics/physical activities, moral and other personal endeavors

Dr. John Butler, Dean John Butler began his journey to the Academy as a private in the U. S. Army in 1987. Mr. Charles Reininger, School Counselor Mr. Reininger has been with the Marine Military Academy since 1991, serving in a variety of roles.
